This is me!
I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember and writing songs since I was six. Classically trained to Grade 8 as a high soprano, lockdown truly ignited my songwriting — endless hours at the piano creating nonstop. Since then, I’ve been fully hands-on: writing, arranging, and performing, blending alt-pop, indie, and soul with subtle electronic textures to create an intimate, cinematic sound.
I’m a party-loving, music-obsessed singer-songwriter who thrives on performing and connecting with people. While marketing and promotion can feel like a struggle, there’s nothing more natural or enjoyable to me than playing my songs for an audience. My neurodivergent brain keeps me creative, curious, spontaneous, and full of energy — and I like to think this comes through in my performances. I’m still finding my audience, but I’m eager to get out there, make more friends, and share the music with people.
In 2022, a self-produced bedroom track was featured on BBC Introducing. In March 2025, I teamed up with producer James Grunwell and the momentum accelerated. I’m currently releasing tracks from my eight-song EP Behavioural; singles Bottle Caps, Laundry and Just an Addict have all been played by Matt Plumb (love him) on BBC Introducing, with more to come.
I love playing live and have performed at the 8 Day Weekend Festival in Saffron Walden and venues across East Anglia and London.
I’m keen to expand my live shows in 2026 and open to offers.

James Grunwell is a musician and producer based in Leeds, UK. His solo work has earned sync placements on TV and Film, most notably on the Netflix drama “The Lincoln Lawyer”. His work with other artists has several tracks with millions of streams and regular radio play on stations like BBC’s Radio 6 music. James began working with Ava in 2025 and together they have turned her vision into a reality, and developed her sound to show another side to her songs.
Kingsley
Kingsley is Ava’s Marketing & Communication Manager. Originally from China, she graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in Music Management. Within the team, she manages social media, plans campaigns, and coordinates with teammates to turn ideas into posts, shows, and memorable moments. She loves bringing music to life and supporting artists from their first steps to bigger stages. Working with Ava on her debut EP has been inspiring, and she’s proud to be part of the journey. She looks forward to seeing more people connect with Ava’s music and discover the rising star she is.
